The African Voice

She cries for the sake of the oppressed, Dragged in the mud of shame and cheat. She mourns the souls of the helpless dead, Buried in the grave of suffering without succor. She bears the plight of the poor, Forgotten in the jungle of poverty without hope. She grieves for the victims of war, Totally condemned to a life without meaning. She fights the course of the powerless, Heavily defeated once to fall forever. She speaks on behalf of the voiceless, Despised and deprived of a right to good life.
