The Accident

Death only a few inches away But Jeb just wanted to play He bent over an inch too much Breathed in H2O and such Woke up in a place he didn't want to stay

Jeb was lucky to still be alive, Without thinking he took a dive, he woke up in bed, with a lump on his head, a broken nose and two lovely black eyes.

Sara, I hope it was a hospital bed and not a morgue! Pools can be dangerous for sure. I don't have one and never will.

Duke, it was for a contest. I could not copy her picture because it was too large, so I had to find one. Just made-up limerick from the picture on the contest page. However, pools are very dangerous, and everyone should obey the rules so that there is less danger of drownings. Sara K

It’s been a while since I looked in on a Sara Kendrick poem so..here I am. You’ve served up a limerick with a lesson and a good one too. Have a nice weekend. Cheers - Gary

A great limerick on Jeb who went to the extreme level of risking his own life by bending too low into the water. Thank God, he was not drowned ! Playing too much with water is as dangerous as playing with fire. A real fun read, dear Sara.
