The Accident
Too many accidents on our roads,
Bring in new experts was the call,
Money no object.
They soon signed up Joe,
Who was not slow,
For a sum they chose not to show.
He soon had them convinced it was OK,
For anything doing under a hundred K,
On the foot path to stay.
Soon Joe,
Who was not slow,
Had a nice bonus he could show,
As the road toll started to slow.
But alas poor Joe,
Who was not slow,
Had a car tyre blow.
Unfortunately for Joe,
While bending down low,
To change the tyre that did blow,
On the footpath where traffic now did flow,
He was dealt a fatal blow,
From a walking stick, that is now on show.
