Pat Adams Poet Quatrain

That's Not Helping

A prostrate exam is bad enough
I would have called it off if able
Sweating it out in the exam room
Half naked bent over a table

As the Doc came up behind me
A rubber glove snapped in the air
He said, "If you are feeling nervous,"
"Just pretend I'm in my underwear!"
