That's Fine

In a moment, my heart returned to me, that's fine.
I waited years for someone to love me, that's fine.

My letters may have reached their rightful destination.
So what if you haven't replied to me, that's fine.

It seems that your mercy knows no bounds
Yes, you could not forgive me, that's fine.

You have never made an unkept promise however,
If this gift is only for me, that's fine.

I walked aimlessly suffering the pangs of separation
But you say that it didn't kill me, that's fine

What would make them to know my feelings; when friends
Tell you nonchalantly to ‘let it be’, that's fine

'Mumtaz' you were mercilessly punished in this world
No one heard your feeble plea, that's fine.
