That Wonderful Feeling Called 'Love'

Initially he dismissed it
Nothing more
Than infatuation
A passing fancy
Just time pass, fun
She was unrelenting
Her talks,
Her messages
All would loudly proclaim
Her adoration
For everything of his
While he waited
For ‘Time’
To work its magic
And bring
Her ‘heat’ down
After all,
She was
No teenage chick
But this time,
‘Time’ failed
In fact,
The tide turned
He slowly
Started responding
He learned
Life’s lesson-
“You may write
Across your heart
‘No thoroughfare’
But one day
You wake up
And find
Love is everywhere.”
