That Place
A place which feels so familiar, yet we have never been there before
The sound of the birds, the wind beneath the leaves, the water flowing nearby
A place which we all dream about full of sunshine, happiness and peace
The light is so bright that it illuminates everything in its path and it is the only source of life
A place where we are free from pain and suffering yet prisoners to our own imagination
It is all that we hoped for, all that we wished for, but we are still unsatisfied
A place where we never go hungry but we die inside from being thirsty
Thirsty for more, thirsty for that which we were before
A place we call home but there are no doors and there are no windows
The people here are called a family but they have no relations
A place that makes us question our own existence and our true identity
Everything seems so clear and life is so simple, with no complications and no boundaries
A place which doesn’t exist but is the reason that we either live for or die for
