That Night

The moment when you held me
When I really saw the purity in your words
When I heard the sadness in you’re tone
When you tried to seem okay
But you were all broken
When you gave me the words
In no serious matter
As they sank deep inside me
I preserved the moment
I kept it in me
I seized it into my heart
It was so true
I hugged you so deeply
You seemed so depressed
But you hugged me as well
You always were so funny and joketive
You always were so happy and light
But as I saw you that night
You were so dull and dark
You were so sad and miserable
You had a large weight on your shoulders
You worked so hard for everything
You admired every book you read
You gave me advice in every matter
You appreciated my writings unlike before
And you were just waiting for the moment
It will all go away
You were just waiting for you’re plead
To be answered
As I waved to you goodbye
And felt the coming tears falling from you’re eyes…
I left

I read it a couple of times, for it to sink in. I started to feel the sadness from your words, then "I left".
