That Invisible Open Door

There is a ocean of love inside of me
that longs to be poured out like the waves on the sea,
I want to hover over the water
fall into a Piscean dream, flanked by Lemurian light
I want to be lured inside a vat of minerals and sea salt,
perhaps I'm a daughter
                  to the water, water, water,
My arms are elbows curved and my face bobs atop blue
oh how I wish you could come and swim with me today
We would float on our backs and look up at the sky with glee
pinning those birds as if they were pigeons made of clay
fly away, fly away, fly away
                                    with me...
Our bodies would be firmly absorbed like living sand dollars
leaving land behind we'd embrace the ocean as if we were
dolphins, leaping and riding the waves like ocean scholars
come with me to the sea, we will swim without deter
                        swimming, swimming, swimming,
across the ocean floor,
we'll go right through that invisible open door
              and be no more....

Compassion and love are essential if this world is to survive. Great imagery. I love dolphins. We are fortunate to see them in Malta.

Dear Rose, felt like a dreamscape, waves, minerals, dolphins, and light all folding into one another. I was moved by the way you let the ocean become both sanctuary and passage, a place where longing dissolves into freedom. So honest, tender. Holiday Blessings, Dear Rose, Daniel

"perhaps I'm a daughter to the water, water, water, My arms are elbows curved and my face bobs atop blue" -- Marvelous! Love it. Right through that invisible door, fluid like, finding every crack and available spirit crevice. The soul is very much fluid, spirit living in the blood outright. Love it!

I'm glad you can go through that invisible door as easy as water, many cannot Joe. I can see your a believer, I'm grateful for that and for your friendship, :)
