That Day I Met Death

I am glad I went to hell
Glad to have met death
Looked at his face, hugged him
Fell to my knees, kissed his feet
Asked If I could stay and live with him
                                                          Not today
he whispered
Not today you are just a visitor
But death look
Look
I have been to hell before
So many times if I give it a thought
So much in fact
That every time things are fine
I think that things are great
I just want to stay
What do you say
Death kissed me on my cheek
Licked my face
His breath. Smelled like ashes and death
His breath was romantic in that way
                                                          Not yet my friend
                                                          You need to see heaven
He said
So that I can finally snatch it from you
                                                           I am not really content
                                                           To see you here gladly.
Here I am
At night glad I went to hell
Because now I am certain
I am certain to see heaven
