Thanksgiving Prayer

Thanksgiving to some people means enjoying a meal,
getting together with family and friends and party;
but to me it means so much more it is a day to kneel,
and thank the Lord for all the food that we eat hearty.
For every single day he gives me to live on this earth,
for the skill of doctors who care for me and give hope;
and I am thankful each day that proves to him my worth,
thank you Lord above for giving me the strength to cope.
"I put my fate in your hands this Thanksgiving."
