Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving soon coming to town
Turkey plumped up and golden brown
‘tho some like white meat
The dark can’t be beat
To the table we all sit down.

First begin the meal with a prayer
Thanking God for everyone there
Let the feast begin
Knife and fork, dig in
There seems to be food everywhere.

Potatoes and dressing and pies
To eat too much would not be wise
With plenty for all
And plates piled too tall
Indigestion will be your prize!

Betty, I always eat to much and yes that bloating does take its course. Congratulations on your win. Hugs Eve
