''Thanks To Declare''

     It may be Great Spirits above,
Or Almighty God that you love;
          But each day say a deep prayer,
We have so much thanks to declare.

     My glass is not full or empty,
But of life I have had plenty;
          Even when my life was threadbare,
We have so much thanks to declare.

     Oh thanks for the gift of writing,
For the happiness and weeping;
          Against others never compare,
We have so much thanks to declare. 

     Give thanks for beautiful nature,
For humans and each creature;
          There are things I, we can repair,
We have so much thanks to declare.
