Thanks To All the Poetry Soup Poets

Thank you one and all for your kind expressions of concern,
I finally did find out that I have gall stones, and will have to get more labs in two
weeks then
possibly surgery if the labs aren't better.

I am relieved to at least know what it is and it is treatable.
I don't want to have surgery but that is the way it goes. It will work out.
I am full of rocks, just like my husband said.HAHA!

Again Thank You one and all!!

Doris

Updated 11/11/09 I just got home from the Hospital today and had the old cold
stones removed, they got to acting up and made me sick so I had to go on in the
hospital ahead of schedule. I am much better today, I thought I was gonna die
yesterday:-( I am back on the road to recovery today.
AGAIN thanks for all the well wishes and prayers going up for me!! You all have been
very kind!!!

I am new to your world of poetry and just saw your note and then recovery lines. Have faith and confidence in God and you will be all right. Pains and pleasures are parts of our life just do not loose confidence. You may do little with confidence but without that you can do nothing. My best wishes and prayer for your very fast recovery. Best wishes Ravindra

Oh my goodness, Doris. This sounds like such a painful condition. I pray you recover quickly! (Surgery is something I would wish to avoid as well, but please do what your doctor feels is best for you.) Tell your husband the rocks are all in his head (LOL). Love, Carolyn

Doris, don't worry bout a thing.. I had gall bladder surgery a few years ago and it was a bit of an ordeal, depends on the type of surgery u require.. I had over 100 stones so I needed the "big kauna" surgery but it wasn't too bad.. my boys were little too and they loved MOM being out of the house for a week ... God will be with u and u will be in my prayers... my song did not get published .. it was a long time ago when written .. still looking for a singer to find it worthy.. God bless..
