Thankful Celebration

I am thankful for the freedom that I have
To pursue my goals, dreams and purpose
I am thankful to have freedom of speech 
So that I can stand for what I believe
I am thankful to see emerging peace
After so many years of endless war
I am thankful to see people uniting here
And other places in the world with parades
I am thankful for protection of religious liberty
For one nation under God, where we live
I am thankful for the inspiration and hope
Shared with others who know, love and respect,
The foundation of our country and its values
The limitless opportunities we are granted
And the love we choose to celebrate together
I am thankful, oh so thankful, for all of this
