Thankful Celebration

I am thankful for the freedom that I have To pursue my goals, dreams and purpose I am thankful to have freedom of speech So that I can stand for what I believe I am thankful to see emerging peace After so many years of endless war I am thankful to see people uniting here And other places in the world with parades I am thankful for protection of religious liberty For one nation under God, where we live I am thankful for the inspiration and hope Shared with others who know, love and respect, The foundation of our country and its values The limitless opportunities we are granted And the love we choose to celebrate together I am thankful, oh so thankful, for all of this Heidi Sands 11/3/20 Placed 6th in the Thanksgiving Poetry Contest.

Live free or die! -- as they say in the Granite State! Hope there's still some color in the leaves there for you to view. Chicago is gorgeous right now, and we have a stretch of mild weather suddenly. Lucky, lucky, lucky! :) gw

You've got that right, my friend!! There are some trees holding onto some color, but we did have a little snow last night that stayed on the ground today. Pretty on distant mountains though! Enjoy your mild weather. I hear we may have some next week. Thank you Gershon :)
