Thankful

Henrietta referred to as "Hen"
Glanced lovingly at her mate,Tom
Thankful today was Thanksgiving
Their kids Jake and Jenny now calm

Tom said they should all be so glad
They survived to see morning light
There were those not lucky as them
When everyone had to take flight

When finding their food they would gobble
Happily in the snow they would strut
How should turkeys feel on thanksgiving?
IF not thankful then I don't know what!

RETIRED RAM There once was a ram who retired, who really was terribly tired. Having serviced the lot, he should have have been shot. But the gun thankfully backfired. I see your turkeys have joined the club. Good one Pat.
