Thank You Jesus
Thank you Jesus
You revealed to me I am no good
My will and desires are no good
My mind and ears were closed
Listening to this world
Oh I am so wretched and unworthy
Even you said you were no good
But the father who sent you
Jesus I give up my will leads to death
Lead my way with new vision
To see this world is what
You came to escape us from
Let me just hear your voice
And be a vessel to tell of your glory
That you are alive and well
Waiting for that broken heart and cry out
To breathe in fresh new life of peace and joy
That this world rejects for it rejected you
To think we could could be good on our own
Would put your death in vain
You have shown me the corruption
And deception of this world god
He is a liar and deceiver
That brings forth bad fruit with worms
Looks promising but nothing eatable
I shall avoid and let him have it
To receive from the tree of life
In knowledge, wisdom, spirit and truth
To recognize all the foolishness going on
Many still seeking to live by laws
As if you did not come to place
These within a new heart and mind to guide
If we are still seeking the old laws
We have not even allowed Jesus spirit within
The world shows it rejects it still today
