Thank you for poets I have never met.
Thank you, I feel so much less alone.

Thank you for such a supportive circle,
thank you for the chance to connect.

Thank you for the Lives that inspire me,
thank you for writers who encourage me.

Thank you for the talented competition,
 thank you for continually raising the bar.

Thank you for artists fueled by the Muse,
thank you for prompts with ‘NO A.I.’ rules.

Thank you for poetry from around the world,
 thank you for the ability to explore it.

Thank you for each new collaboration,
thank you it’s wonderful to make friends. 

So thank you Instagram,
for the poets I haven’t met in person. Yet.
