Thank You
I am strong because of you,
vulnerable no more.
I had to grow a backbone
when you walked out the door.
I am no longer needy
like the woman you left behind.
I've learned to stand on my own two feet
and I now know my own mind.
Independant and self-aware
I am now, because of you.
So I thank you for all you did
when you told me we were through.
I wouldn't be that woman again
if you offered me a million bucks
and as for you and your life now,
well I really don't give two... figs.
