Thank You

When this outbreak started, the world stood still; Many people died and others are ill. We're all quarantined, nervous, and scared; Truthfully because we were unprepared. It would seem like hope is all but gone; We can't lose heart. We must stay strong. So let's give it up for the folks out there, Doing their best and showing they care. To the drivers of the buses, cars, and trains, To the people shipping food from trucks and planes: To the doctors and nurses fighting the good fight, Working tirelessly every day and night; And the Home Health Aides out there in the field, Caring for the patients and being their shield; To the people shipping packages near and far; No matter who you work for, you know who you are. To the men and women in the military, The police, fire departments, and EMTs; To all of our parents and all of our teachers, Who do their best to educate and reach us: To the folks who survived, you're our inspiration: My heart goes out to everyone across the nation. We don't say this enough, but we know it's true: For everything you do, we want to say, "Thank you." <3
