Thank Heaven

Thank heaven for the heavens,
The haven of evil beings.
I thank you skies
For the seats you clean for us.

Thank heaven for the heavens,
The reward of sinful men.
Hail angels for the rooms they sweep
For men to come rest their filth.

Thank heaven for making the path straight
That leads to the fountains of life,
As all we’d need is a hired priest
Standing o’er our corrupt remains!
