Terrific Birthday Bouquet

They sent their mother the perkiest birthday bouquet It was okay now that they did not visit every day. One lived two blocks, the other a whole mile away. One could barely stay. The other was dour and gray. As her nurse, I was sad they did not come by Tuesday. Or answer their messages which they did not bother to play. For that is the day their mother passed away.

They are going to have to live with it.

Ohh, I can relate to this, as my parents, in their 90's, are in a nursing home now. My brothers and I visit often, but it is sad that they can no longer live at home. Very tragic to die on her birthday. Nice monorhyme.

Ah, this is so sad, Caren. So close and yet they let their mother die alone. They'll regret that someday, methinks.
