TERRACE

From balcony, watch stars-
Gems stuck in diadem.
I wonder where hides Mars.
Moon spills light on the floor.
Down, city is abuzz.
Like ants, move in rows, cars.

Such a beautiful and vivid piece, Valsa. It feels like you wrote it while gazing from your balcony.

Marvelous images take shape in your poem, Valsa, designed with exquisite grace. Ants, the earth's meticulous builders, fiercely defend their areas. The moon is not meant to intrude excessively.

Wonderful imagery! Very well expressed. Ants are territorial -- why we all have our separate mounds. The moon should not pry too much. We react contrary when too exposed. Now able to reach farther out into space. An intelligent reason why God put so much distance between habitable planets.
