Tenacious

stranded in the dreariest of doldrums, I never knew I could ever be this tough; lost, drifted with the worst wayward winds, I never gave up saying I've had enough; I crept and crawled, clutched and clung, though badly battered, blamed and beaten; even in defeat, my glorious hymn was sung, my heart throbbed unfazed, no, never shaken !
