One way to smile joy Through a life, To breathe contentment Without any strife – is to listen Offering kindness, without any reason Two ways to brighten hearts and lives Is to provide laughter and smiles With your spirit, embrace The one who needs your touch, With compassion that comes from above Three ways to silence the doubts, The clouds of sorrow, the struggles And despair – is to whisper Sensitivity and soothing, All the wonders of growing confidence Four ways to delight the heart, Fill the spirit with sweetest pleasure In knowing that they’re truly loved, Is to arrange for them to feel The beauty of a grace that is so very real Five ways to bring hope to life Is to afford the melody, Dancing through the night Like stardust miracles, so alive Filling the spirit with inspiration, insight Six ways to produce pearls Wisdoms so bright, Is to give, from the heart, Love that feels and is a gift To the one who needs its strength Seven ways to create elation Is to lift the burdens, Carry someone through The hours of darkness When shadows overwhelm Eight ways to assure dreams Is to inspire faith, A reason to believe, from The heart and soul Faith that will make you whole Nine ways to sustain Giving yearnings a way, a path Toward the promise The guarantee of a rainbow After the rain, light to sustain Ten ways to bear every load, However heavy – however old Is to heed the Savior’s word – Hear the heartfelt promises From His everlasting love!
