Ten Plagues and One Hard Heart

Time has been that slavery was a common practice
War lords take over a nation then use the people for slaves
This went on in Israel, Egypt, China, and numerous other places.
We have heard of Pharoh of Egypt and Moses
Moses said to Pharoh one day, the God of Israel says "Let my people go!"
Pharoh thought these slave people are needed around here, free labor.
Pharoh said no I won't let you go.
God of Israel sent 10 plagues on the Egyptian people all the way into Pharoh's palace.
Their water was changed into blood. Plagues of gnats, flies, locust, frogs, boils, cattle died,
darkness in day time, and the last day the firstborn child died, then Pharoh let them go.

He still had not learned his lesson and he took his army out after the Israelites and then him and
his army was drowned in the river.
One hard hearted and headed man, met his doom.

Exodus the Holy Bible.

still needs work....

Awesome write Doris! It is terrible that slavery still exists in our world! Especially in Africa. But we also have forms of slavery in India and China though. Thank you for your onging kind comments and have a great week!...Gert. I'll have my "Green Sauce" with boiled potatoes and Nurember Sausages (fried) tonight!

Yes, I agree with Eamon that if you are going to carry this further, bring it to modern day (and don't forget slavery in America once existed). We are seeing so many earthquakes right now that it seems our world is in upheaval. Awesome start you have here, Doris! Love, Carolyn

Hello Doris Culverhouse, Thanks for your visit. Great instructive work. if you are going farther with it, you might bring it up to modern times, floods, earthquakes etc. have we ignored warnings and suffered the consequences of our mistakes. Don't mind me. Just the rambling of a feeble mind. Thanks again. Eamon
