A rising sun cast pastel shades Icy lavender fools In the throes of summertime's heat It is hard to keep cool All seems quiet, just a Mockingbird's Varied soft melodies As the orange ball of a sun Rest with ease 'pon pine trees A lovely day to enjoy the peace A restful quiet morn Even the roosters are silent Time for good thoughts to be born Soon the sun's changing position Will transfer radiant heat The day will become hotter Which even icy drinks can't beat Is hell getting__hot_ hotter still Heated with fervent heat So hot for those who don't repent Punishment to meet their feats

Enjoyable sun, till it becomes too much to bear! Our summer is hot and I feel drained of energy and am thirsty most of the time. I'm not planning on paying hell a visit:) // paul

Oh, I liked how you changed this to be about hell at the end! Kind of having a dual purpose. Great picture to go with it too, Sara!! Love your description of the day so restful even the rooster is silent.

sara, I am orange according to that personality test at FB. So I decided to choose orange for that waltz poem. But I wanted you to know, I much more prefer blues and lavender hues!! Let me read this one now.
