Telling the old story Was Golgotha's soil sad Did it weep for the blood? Which dripped on the good earth Cedars and olives bud Telling the old story They laid Him in the tomb Did the rocky cave grieve? Surprised when He arose Did Godly dead perceive? Telling the old story Was it a sunrise bright? Did He rise at daybreak? Sara, your questions give this poem such a depth and opportunity to pray and meditate on the earth's reactions to the Resurrection - all of creation a part of the Resurrection. So well done. Happy to see this on the winners list! High fives and congratulations. Blessings!

Thank you, John. I know it will be a good day. I am still not back in church because of COVID. I don't need to get sick again. I hope maybe about the first of May I can go back through the summer at least. Our daughter is planning a small get together for us. Sara

Thank you, Kim. I like that last one also. I wrote this one so different from any one I think I have ever written. I did not do the stanzas in order but as I was lead to write them then changed them around. Your visits always inspire. Sara
