Notes About The Poem

Telling Me Again

Telling Me Again

I fix my gaze on midnight skies
I search the moon above.
I ask of heaven once again
when will I find love?

As I watch from far below
I can't believe my eyes.
I see the answer that I seek
falling from the skies.

Suddenly I long to hide
my heart so filled with fear.
Not sure now I want to know
I see it dawning clear.

I cannot even imagine
and so I dare not try.
As the answer found me
and I began to cry.

Many times the answer shared
now telling me again.
All the love I'll ever need
is living deep within.

Wow! This is without a doubt a 7. I am so voracious for more of your lines right now and I definitely will come by to enjoy the bliss of your words.

Thank you so much Funom!! You know for many years I wrote my poetry in the shadows of my emotions and seldom shared them with another soul. Once I began sharing them it was like I sprouted wings. It's comments like these that provide the wind beneath those wings teaching me to fly. Thank you brother. God bless. Ed

Something or someone has inspired you Edwin! - on the 2 occasions I have written profusely ( i wrote 11 poems 2 days before dad's terminal diagnosis and I wrote 8 poems the day before he died ) - I had stockpile of poems to post at a later date - maybe it is just a premonition ... but I hope it doesn't happen too often! I tend to post one poem a day unless a contest is closing! Hugs jan xx
