Tell This Tale Tenderly

their twin heart fires alighted
two passionate flames
one truly was excited
other full of blames

their merger was completing
disappointment too
her high hopes were depleting
she was glad they're through

her partner sought empathy
from her cousin Sue
now he gets no sympathy
no glance, no boo hoo

her new life is marvelous
she made her escape
a pioneer courageous
smooth as a new grape

so tell this tale tenderly
choose the words so well
choose the verbs most slenderly
do not oversell

okay if you titillate
difficult not to
you might even scintillate
speaking of these two
