Tell Me That You Love Me

If You Love me

Tell me that you love me
When ‘ere I pass your way
Don’t wait until my eyes are closed
And I have gone away
Tell me in the morning
When I wake to greet the day
And you kiss me gently on my cheek
As you go on your way
Tell me when things go wrong
And I am feeling blue
And when you take me in your arms
I’ll say, “I love you too”
Tell me when you’re angry
When something is amiss
Don’t let us go to bed
Without “I love you” and a kiss
Tell me that you love me
At least once every day
Don’t wait until my eyes are closed
And I have gone…away
