Tell Me

As the sun slips silently over the horizon

my eyes rise up to the heavens

higher than the tallest oak

beyond the smirking moon and

past the sparkling stars showering the sky.

I beg of you, I beg of you to tell me

tell me what lies ahead

will this solaced heart be loved

will the stars align once more

please tell me what is in store

A falling star tumbles from the sky

and I wish

I wish upon that star so bright

I wish for her to hold me tight

I wish and I wonder

I wonder when and I wonder if

If her heart beats like mine

If she wants to hold me til the end of time

I question and I wonder and I ponder

in the shadow of the great vast sky

Will she tell me what's deep inside

or will she run and hide?

Remember when you wish...to specify that you don't want her to be a Dragon... If you think MY Dragon is bad... They say a girl Dragon is more Demanding... and far worse. But she'll never run and hide... Honest! Remember! A falling star is what got me my Dragon Egg... Just saying!
