Tell Me

Dreams and desires!
Desires and dreams!
Tell me, oh great one,
What do they mean?

Keep true to yourself,
but dream, there, within.
Without that bright light,
You would be done in.

Desires and dreams!
Dreams and desires!
Tell me, oh great one,
What hinders these fires?

Know to yourself,
You rule with your heart.
Your brain should then follow
And give them their start.

Dreams and desires!
Desires and dreams!
Tell me oh great one,
Are they as they seem?

Know this my subject,
That your work will prevail.
With dreams in your heart
You are certain to sail.
With desires and wants,
Those deep down inside,
Decipher the truths
From the ones that must hide.
For they are the reason
For everyone’s quest.
Decide on which ones,
For you’ll do what’s best.
Decisions I gave you
To choose on your own,
But do what is right
To one day come home!
