Telephone Sarcasm
Telephone Sarcasm
(an opinion)

I observe daily, those who refuse to release,
Glued to one hand is a small soulless beast.
Many can’t function without their phone in play,
It disrupts conversations and schedules their day.
But staying connected seems to be the dream,
And as a privacy lover they induce my scream.
Everywhere I go someone invades my airspace,
These attention thieves all have their place.
Wherever I go there’s some loud mouth talking,
I’m forced to listen or get up and start walking.
Sometimes users can be self centered and crude,
Texting when someone’s talking to me seems rude.
I don’t have need for any I pad or smart phone,
My Old Ford truck is the mobile device I own.
Today at the Doctors office there were 13 people in the waiting room.
I was the only one not messing with a phone.
