Teenagers

Touchy, moody beings,
Trying to be grown up.
Testing parents' limits,
Trapped in hormonal flux,
Turmoil at the ready,
Trust issues do abound.
Treat with love and patience.

The last line is the key: Love and patience. If only I had read this a long time ago. Sage advice, Kim!! :) gw

Yeah, I wasn't so patient with my teens, but they still turned out well. Thanks for stopping by, Gershon!

"trapped in hormonal flux" - exactly right, and it seems pre-teenagers are right there with them, and pre-teenagers are getting younger and younger! Enjoyed this one, Kim!

Thank you, Caren! I have a teenage granddaughter and my grandson is preteen. My son has some interesting days ahead of him.
