Teen
Promises, devotion, kissing,
Waiting for someone who's missing -
You.
Passion, pleasure, will, desire
A little more, a little higher -
Something new.
Wisdom words - rejection, wishes;
"To depend", unwanted "leashes"
Holding tight.
Guesses, dreams of something better;
Once again - a burning letter,
Lonely night.
Questions, wonders, analyzing,
Wrong decisions - realizing,
Why (?)
Reasons, answers,
Knowledge, chances,
Different sides, memory glances -
"The only things of mine".
Another failure - rage and anger,
Every day a steeper angle brings.
How much longer?
Loss, confusion,
Is it all a big illusion?
For some "early wings".
Blinks!
Hope, fulfillment - goals, ambition!
recognition, DEFINITION -
Glad.
Happy. Change -
Excitement feeling
Overwhelming, worth of living
For whatever lays
Ahead.
