I did not know about Rico! They were all special; I am saddened, and yet glad I got to know them all!

They were all special souls. I hope they all know our God and are in a heavenly place Connie with her husband and son, and Milton with his beloved wife Deborah. I can see them rejoicing with our Lord and writing Poetry. They were in our lives for a little while and they left us with a special place for each in our hearts... Thank you for sharing my friend...

Yup. We've lost more than our share of Soupers lately, I'd say. (And what about that funny bloke from Australia who used to write hilarious narratives? Can't think of his name this second. But it seems he's gone for a while now). May they all r.i.p. ~ gw

Gershon, Said it so well in the many lives left behind in '22. A bowed head for those voices silenced, yet read on. "We are all of us subject ~ to universal, immutable laws". My best wishes for you and yours in the coming new year. -Richard

A sad day Gershon. Speechless when I heard the news. I wished him happy travels before his Mexico trip. I will miss his writings, his cleverness, and his love for life...ab

Waves of shock come upon us like blizzards. I am just back after burying my cousin who died of a heart attack in the prime of his life. The very next moment came the news of Milton's death. Once more we are made to think of the transitoriness of life.

You and me and all of us should have no more sorrow to bear --- at least not this holiday season! Life can certainly be short, nasty and brutish as Dickens would have it. Let's here it for Joy and Light, Gershon

Yes Gershon. This is all sad. I am shocked and also overwhelmed from deaths of my friends in life and poet friends here too. Take care

I am also shocked and overwhelmed from the deaths of our poetry friends (plus some of my personal friends here in Chicago) lately. May we know happier occasions. Season's best, Heidi. ~ Gershon
