Tears of Love
Tears of Love
As my teardrops fall
I really try
to count it all
But there's so much
I can't find
a number that is such
All I think of
is his glance and his smile
When he smiled and looked at me
the world through his eyes
I could see
I felt like paradise had open its gates
way in the clouds up above
and I knew I had fallen in love
But then, different ways
we both had to go
due to life
and its regular show
We are, so far apart
yet still he lies in my heart
As each teardrop falls, to forget him I try
but I hear his calls, softly saying
"I will wait for you
I know you will come
if our love is true"
