Tears of a Valiant Soldier

A stiff neck in need of a massage, I watch her break her back in parts. Too often saviours feel the most pain, Too often, their sacrifices lie in vain. What is she to the world if she can't breathe? Who saves heros when they are in need? She cries out for those who bleed, Whilst her own blood oozes in speed. She soaks her worries in a steamed bath, To lessen the weight off of her path. My baby, I worry about your mental health, Promise me you will find inner strength. I pray she survives her daily routine, She shouldn't have to act so pristine. Many are the troubles of the world, I hope she heals whilst being so bold. 28 June 2022 Sponsored by Faraz Ajmal
