Tear's Journey
I feel you inside me
somewhere near my core
as heartbreak begins
watching a somber story unfold
feeling incapable of changing
the course of wrong to right
I feel you enter my heart
as I sense an internal sob
raging against my resolution
to stay detached from the sorrow
to leave the injustice out of my reach
others to pick up the pieces
Then you totally go against my wishes
by rising from deep within me
to gather at my sight making unclear
the stand I am trying to take
though uncertainty prevails
A blink sets forth your tangible journey
bringing into focus the path I am to take
