Tears & Tears

Tears, tears, and tears they are leaking
From every sprout

I know not why they visited me but
Without any warning they were knocking
                   At my door

A stream of tears, tears and tears leading

A trail of wetness runs..

Down my cheek proudly pictured a stain
Capturing each tear..

Tears, tears, and tears take pleasure in
Their voice echoing from somewhere
                 Far, faraway..

Feeling me full of tears from a place
Unknown to me..

I think I might just play these “ole”
Tears a love song

And send it far, faraway..

From whence it come and stole my
Heart..

In this teary hour….

My sad eyes will I rest and become
Refresh,

To dry my misty eyes and let them
Shine again..
