Teardrops
Let cheer drop in your hands…
Your quivering, hefty hands held on to liberty lands…
Let teardrops fall upon the sands…
You tear at my once unshattered, ungrieving soul
Tattered and torn in the ever-swirling storm within
The torrent of ugly has been made oh so beautiful
The battles we fight here with our night, we will win
We shed blood on these bloody battlefields…
We are protected by God’s sheltering shields
Instead of shedding doubtful tears
Teardrops of fretful fears…
The chimes of ancient times
There are times when I feel unloved sometimes
Sick of the rhymes and sick of you, being sour as limes
That’s why I weep teardrops
Teardrops…as precious raindrops
Pour from bittersweet clouds
We are covered in silhouetted shrouds
