Teaching should be Engaging and Reaching Minds and Hearts Not Preaching or Beseeching and of course not Screeching or Bleaching the color out of the Truth ~ For Teaching should be all about helping others seek Truth with their Reaching!

Absolutely! We should be teaching them to be life-long learners, wanting to teach themselves because they will leave us in the dust soon enough. BRAVO.

Gershon, long ago when I was in school, there were only a couple of teachers that actually taught me anything. I think teaching is a gift, much like poetry writing. Some are born with it, others not so much. You seem to have been doubly blessed.

Couldn't agree more, glad times have changed, often seen bully teachers ridicule pupils because they didn't know an answer. Tom.

Me too, Tom...by and large those bully teachers are a thing of the past---although I've encountered a few such colleagues in the past decade. They're dinosaurs though, by and large. :) gw
