Teach Me

Teach me
to live as a man not a beast
to hear and obey the wisdom of the East
to strive and better all I am to thee

Teach me
to voice peaceful decibels of sweetness
to fill all your days with happiness
to be as precious as gold may ever be

Teach me
to hear the prayers of your heart
to follow your dreams from the start
lifted by your smile to soar free

Teach me
to be strong and not to cry
to tell the truth without a lie
to be all you want me to be

Teach me my darling I beg you
better ways to still love you

A lesson in love would make the road of perfection easier
