Teabag Sign

You loved your cup of tea with honey
Well known for it in your time
We laughed about when you passed
You would leave me a “teabag sign”

When you left we all encountered your visits
In the form of a little black and white bird
No sign of a random teabag
Unfortunately, ever occurred….

He who has loved me always
Gave me the little bird made of wood
A position of pride of place
Is where this little bird stood

Woke up early one morning
Had to do a double check
There was my little bird
With a teabag around his neck!

He who has loved me always…..
