Tea In A Glass Cup

The bubbling boiling water Sends the cushion of tea leaves afloat The flavours burst out breaking free. The swirling golden shadows Quickly shade to honey brown... Oh. The luxury of Tea! The earthy aroma calms the soul. Added, some snow white milk... A silky beige beverage for me. There's something magical About watching this process Through the clear glass of this cup of Tea.

As I read your poem, I am ironically drinking Chamomile tea with a blueberry scone. Perfect! To me, your last three lines say it all. What a sweet poem.

Yes, I love watching the colour of the water change with teabags or even when putting a drop of juice in water. :-D
