Tax Season

Income tax season
Is no reason
For utter despair
Pulling your hair
Shedding a tear
Out of fear
You’ll be broke --
Like most folk!

Oh, 'tis a wretched time when the IRS comes a calling. :( Ironic that it follows Christmas when you're already "broke" The IRS will never call you, ever. They communicate by snail mail, so be extra wary of someone on the other end of the phone saying they are the IRS. My cousin is a tax attorney that's how I know. Funny poem! I will share this with him, he will get a good laugh.

Ha, ha! I wish I could shed some weight over my #$%^%& taxes. Oh, well... back to the spread sheets...

When I asked Senator Inouye to introduce a bill for a Flat Tax (clearly more profitable to other nations), he refused, saying it would put too many federal employees out of work as well as accountants, lawyers, etc.

I like Caren's idea and my response to it! (smirk) (smirk) I pay through the nose for an accountant to do mine, but it is a relief!

? People sans computer can not get tax return forms as the IRS and libraries are closed, and Trump made sure there is no one able to answer the telephone . . . .

Aw, but I never call the IRS, period. I want as much distance between me and them as possible. Go to H & R Block!!!

Tax season is so overrated. I say we all pay our $750 and be done with it.

Sounds like a good idea to me; however, I'd make it $500. We pay too many taxes everyday, and then we are hit with a big one on April 15th. Argggghhhh!
