Tarnished

T urned out by few, yes I played the fool.
A nother time I allowed a man to make the rules.
R eppressed to a point myself was almost lost.
N ever thinking what that would mentally cost.
I rrationally I made believe these feelings were real.
S uffocated all the anger and pain I would feel.
H ow unfair to those who care for me today.
E ndlessly those old feeling come back into play.
D oomed are all of my relationships for now,
I must escape the past but can't see how.
