Tanya In Park Pobedy
TANYA IN PARK POBEDY
Autumn dresses of the trees
Swaying gracefully in breeze
Lawns immaculate invite
Benches clean and white
September sun’s bright glow
Fountain sprays with tiny rainbow
Soviet park dignified,
Softer with time - signified
By wavelets of laughter -
Tiny welcome sounds after
The traffic noise – a respite
Like shade when sun’s too bright
Her elegant carriage plays
With red dress and model sway.
Tanya’s tresses invite the sun,
Eyes speak sympathy and fun ,
And laughter makes me young.
And kisses - a familiar song oft-sung
This is how to spend a life
Hand-held with my lovely wife -
A stroll of the soul - already
The fountains of Park Pobedy
And her rainbow smile
Invite me to walk another mile.
