Tanka Rhyme - Rescue

TANKA RHYME – RESCUE

we named her peepers
because of her sharp features
which effect the eyes
they seem closer together

she’s escaped from the weather

the economy
animals put out, you see
despite low degrees
peepers the in-and-out cat
so we thought and that was that

we soon discovered
she was in, not the other
she liked to be warm
four walls around, free from harm
oh how she put on the charm

you with heart of gold
take a cat in from the cold
just pennies a day
will feed and keep this good friend
luck and blessing start a trend

Oh, our Kiwi had been a rescued animal and I'm sure she's always been aware of it. "Peepers" sounds lke a wonderful companion, she surely knew who would take her in and give her the love and attention she'd needed.:) They have their personalities, quirks, which you respect and accept! Hi to Peepers, Daver, may she bring you much joy! Love, Mikki

I brought back a cat on the plane from Phoenix Arizona... She lived on a desert and is facinated with my fish... for dinner... Yes, I saw "Batteries not Included" it was great! My Hubby loved it, too.

Very nice. Sounds to me as if a certain cat has chosen its humans well
